Creatine kinase isoenzyme (CKMB) is one of the most important indexes for laboratory inspection. When myocardial tissue damage is severe, CKMB is released into the blood, and CKMB in serum becomes an important criterion for the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction. Increased serum CKMB: common in acute myocardial infarction, skeletal muscle injury, trauma, strenuous exercise, etc. In addition, cardiac surgery with damaged myocardium may transiently increase CKMB, and usually returns to normal within 24 hours after surgery.
