Introduction
Lyser is a specialized chemical solution used to dye cellular components (e.g., nuclei, cytoplasm) in blood samples, enabling automated hematology instruments to: differentiate blood cell types (WBCs, RBCs, platelets), identify morphological abnormalities, quantify cellular parameters. Lyser for Sysmex hematology instrument is specially for Sysmex series hematology analyzers, including different models of 5-part and 3-part analyzer series.

Q: What causes "Lyser Empty" alarm (Code 103000)?
A: Solution:
Replace depleted lyser bottle.
Prime reagent line: Maintenance > Reagent Prime > Select Lyser.
If persists, check bottle sensor alignment (clean with alcohol swab).
Q: Why does HGB show high blank (>0.2 g/dL)?
A: Causes:
● Lyser contamination (e.g., dust in nozzle)
● Expired reagent (verify batch expiration)
● Crystallization in pipes (common in humidity <30%)
