Laboratory environment requirements
Blood analyzers usually need to operate in a constant temperature and humidity laboratory environment. The ideal ambient temperature should be controlled between 18℃ and 30℃, and the relative humidity should be kept in the range of 40% to 60%. Too high or too low temperature may cause unstable performance of electronic components inside the instrument, while too high humidity may cause circuit short circuit or rust of mechanical parts. In addition, the laboratory should have good ventilation conditions to avoid the accumulation of harmful gases or dust, which will affect the detection accuracy.
Power and grounding requirements
Blood analyzers have high requirements for the stability of power supply. It is recommended to use an independent voltage stabilized power supply to avoid voltage fluctuations from damaging the equipment. At the same time, the equipment must be properly grounded to prevent static interference or electric shock risks. In areas with unstable power supply, an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) can be installed to ensure that the equipment can be safely shut down or continue to operate for a period of time in the event of a power outage.
Operating space and maintenance conditions
Hematology analyzers are usually large in size and require sufficient operating table space for installation, maintenance and replacement of consumables. At least 50 cm of heat dissipation space should be reserved around the equipment to avoid overheating due to poor ventilation. In addition, regular cleaning and maintenance are the key to ensuring the long-term stable operation of the equipment. Laboratories should formulate standardized cleaning procedures to prevent liquids from splashing into the equipment and regularly check the wear of mechanical parts.
Special environmental adaptability
Some high-end blood analyzers have strong environmental adaptability and can operate under certain extreme conditions, such as high temperature, high humidity or low altitude areas. However, users still need to refer to the equipment manual to ensure that the environmental parameters meet the manufacturer's recommendations. For mobile laboratories or field testing scenarios, portable blood analyzers can be selected, which usually have stronger shock resistance and environmental adaptability.
